We are Engineers

Pennsylvania's home inspection law clearly warns you to not accept structural opinions of home inspectors, who are not Registered Professional Engineers.  Pennsylvania advises you to seek a professional opinion as to any structural defects or concerns.  This can mean paying for a second home inspection, but not if you choose LAB Pro Home Inspection.   Our home inspectors are all Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineers with extensive residential and commercial construction experience.

 

A home inspection conducted by a LAB Pro Home Inspection Registered Professional Engineer includes repair recommendations for identified structural deficiencies and a free follow-up inspection to confirm that the repairs have corrected  structural deficiencies identified during the inspection.  This confirmation is reported in a formal letter report, stamped by the engineer.  For more information about Pennsylvania's home inspection law, click the button on the left of this page.

  

We are Pennsylvania Certified Pest Control Operators (CPCO)

LAB Pro Home Inspection is fully certified by Pennsylvania to conduct Wood Destroying Pest Infestation inspections, commonly referred to as Termite Inspections.  If your home inspector is not  a licensed CPCO, then their termite inspection will not be in compliance with the Pennsylvania Association of Realtor's Standard Agreement for the Sale of Real Estate.  You will not have this problem if LAB Pro Home Inspection conducts your termite inspection.

 

We are Independent

Some, with a financial interest in a sale, tempt home inspectors with future business if they gloss over issues that could hinder a sale.  LAB Pro home inspectors have been called "deal killers" for the complete and thorough inspections they provide to their clients.   LAB Pro home inspectors have also been called "nit pickers"; we consider that a compliment.
